My role as a producer on iTV's Mama Wata documentary in West Africa was a profoundly positive and mind-enriching experience. It allowed me to immerse myself in the rich cultural tapestry of the region, capturing the mystique of Mama Wata's rituals and the dedication of the local communities. It was an opportunity to bridge cultural divides and preserve ancient traditions through the universal language of visual storytelling. The journey, from concept to post-production, left an indelible mark on my perspective as a designer and storyteller. I'm immensely grateful for the chance to celebrate the beauty and depth of Mama Wata's rituals and to share this extraordinary cultural narrative with a global audience.
